The Buffalo Bills star wide receiver Stefon Diggs has come under fire for crouching right behind the cheerleaders in an awkward way during the 2023 Pro Bowl games, which happened in Las Vegas. The 29-year-old wide receiver was representing the AFC conference in the catch competition round of the Pro Bowl when he pulled on this questionable and controversial ‘stunt’.
Stefon Diggs was going up against the Detroit Lions WR Amon-Ra St. Brown in a brand new catching contest where both the players had to make a striking catch to help their conference beat the other one. However, Diggs caught everyone’s attention for all the wrong reasons. For his “entrance,” the 8th-year wideout crouched in an awkwardly close way and directly behind the cheerleaders, who were facing the other side, towards the trampoline where the players were supposed to land after their acrobatic catch.
Once it was Diggs’ turn, the cheerleaders cleared the way for him as he stood up and ran in an attempt to catch the football. However, the whole buildup was unsuccessful, as Diggs failed miserably to make a catch. The fans who were watching from the stadium and their home were stunned by this whole sequence of events.
This is Stefon Diggs’ third straight Pro Bowl. Ever since he was traded to the Buffalo Bills by the Minnesota Vikings, Diggs has been consistent and has been to the Pro Bowl in every season with the Bills so far. He also has been named to the All-Pro team one time. The former fifth-round draft pick was pretty consistent with his former team Vikings too but never got the Pro Bowl nod while playing for them.

The Bills receiver Stefon Diggs’ absurd antics during the Pro Bowl games didn’t sit well with some of the NFL fans, who thrashed the star receiver for his creepy activities. Some people were cool with it and even praise Diggs for his actions, calling him “Man of culture” and many more names. But some people were very upset with the way a professional football player behaved on live television.
Diggs had a rough ending to his season as he and the Bills were eliminated from the postseason by the Bengals in a humiliating way. Furthermore, during the game, he also started to yell at his QB and best friend, Josh Allen. So, naturally, after the game, trade rumors about the receiver started to spread around the league, but it’s unsure what Diggs’ plans are.
